Creative Facilitation
We have extensive knowledge and experience in delivering accessible workshops and projects with a range of participants. We can design something to meet the specific needs of your group and are happy to collaborate and work together.
Here are some idea's of workshops and activities we can lead;
- Foraging walks led at a pace suitable for your group. Depending on interests we can talk about edible wild food, inedible but historically interesting plants, access to land.
- Pickling and fermenting, working with seasonal gluts and produce we can create quick pickles, long slow fermented krauts and kimchi's. Jam's, chutneys and ketchups.
- Creative thinking, writing. Leading creating writing workshops is one way we like to connect into our We love to work with materials and context that is related to food, cooking and plants.
- Making/craft; From clay, to textiles, dye, weaving. The collective draws upon our personal rich experiences and skills around heritage and contemporary craft. Working with natural matierals, fibres, plants and dyes to consider our connection and relationship with the natural world.
Social Pickle is a collectively run social enterprise. Managed by a small team of 4. When we were operating from FoodHall we had a larger network of volunteers who also took up responsibilities. But now as the organisation is essentially homeless.
At present we have no volunteer opportunities but when they do come up we would advertise them through our newsletter and social media.
There are no future dates set for Pickle Fest. We operated this as a volunteer run DIY organised festival
